The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced that the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2023 will be conducted on October 27. An official notification has been released regarding this decision. “As per Advt. No. 20 of 2023-24, the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2023 is tentatively scheduled for October 27, 2024 (Sunday),” the notification stated. After their retirement, Agniveers will be granted a 10% reservation in all Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts for direct recruitment within Odisha's uniformed services. This reservation will be in addition to the existing quota for ex-servicemen.
