MRJ Safety Chilaw, At least 27 passengers have been hospitalised following a collision between a cement-loaded lorry and a passenger bus at Madampe on the Chilaw-Colombo main road this morning. Police said the injured were admitted to the Chilaw Hospital. The collision took place when a passenger bus travelling from Devala Junction to Colombo via Chilaw reportedly lost control and collided with a cement-loaded truck heading in the same direction. The bus and the truck sustained severe damages in the incident. The Madampe Police are carrying out further investigations.
