Abstract Watercolour Technique | Layering Using Aquapasto

In this video I demonstrate some contemporary abstract watercolour paintings I did using aquapasto which is a watercolour medium you can use to add body to your watercolours. This technique is fun since you can make very satisfying marks in the watercolour paint once mixed with the aquapasto. First I make washes with my neutral colours and after I add layers of blues, greens and oranges mixed with varying amounts of the aquapasto. I also talk about my starting point for the paintings and where I got my inspiration from which was Gaudi´s Casa Batllo in Barcelona.
