So in 2016 I ran two breed tests on my dog Abby. January 2016 I did the Wisdom Panel 2.0 on Abby. October 2016 I did the Embark DNA on Abby. Two weeks after receiving my test kit I received an email from Embark asking if I had received the test kit since I had not logged in and activated my kit nor had I returned it. I was impressed that they were interested in more than taking my money. When I did return the kit I received an email confirming that they received the kit and also received follow up emails as the kit was being processed. The Embark test was more expensive than the others but it includes 160 genetic health conditions and tests for MDR1 Sensitivity which tests for adverse drug reactions to several common drugs. Because of this I will plan on running an Embark DNA tests on all my future canine family members.
