Kuat Transfer Hitch Bike Rack Assembly Demonstration Video

In this video Kuat demonstrates how to assemble the Kuat Transfer wheel mount hitch bike rack. The Transfer, available in either a 2 bike or 3 bike model, is designed to fit nearly any bike on the market. Whether it's road, mountain, hybrid, or fat bikes you need to carry, the Transfer will accommodate 20-29" tires up to 4.5" wide and a maximum wheel base of up to 47". The Kuat Transfer is a wheel mounted bike rack with no frame contact. This means that front tire sits in a wheel hoop and is secured in place with a ratcheting arm on top of the tire. The rear wheel rests in a pivoting wheel hoop and is secured with a ratcheting wheel strap which goes through the rim. The Kuat Transfer 2 Bike can fit onto class 1 and 2 - 1.25" receivers as well as class 3 and larger 2" receivers. Although the Transfer is not sold with locks you can add the Kuat Transfer Lock Kit to lock the rack to your vehicle and the bikes to your bike rack. This lock kit is sold separately.
