In this video we take a pair of tired looking 1998 Rock Shox SID Gen.1 mountain bike forks, Strip, Repair, Sand, Re-Finish, Service & Put it all back together again. We show the process involved for servicing maintenance and how to transform them back to top condition. They have become very tired & dirty over the years, So now it is time to breath new life back in to them. We will be replacing the original damaged decals and re-painting the lower legs. This particular set will be used on my GT STS bicycle, Which is also being shown on the channel. Keep posted for how we carry out all of the refurbs on the bike components. - OIL SPECIFICATIONS: 15wt Fork oil 5cc / 5ml top of leg when top cap removed. 10cc / 10ml in lower legs when bottom bolts removed.
