Grenache or Garnacha, which is better? That is a trick question as they are both the same grape, it is just called Garnacha in Spain. Grenache is one of my favorite grapes and something you need to drink more of. The main flavors that come through in these wines are strawberry, plum, leather, savory herbs and perhaps some orange peel. You can get great Grenache wines from all over the world, but my favorites are from the Southern Rhone in France, California and Spain. The alcohol levels can get high so be careful. Enjoy!!!
