Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order - All Boss Fights (No Damage/Jedi Grandmaster) [4K - PS5]

The bosses of JFO were freaking amazing! Aside from a few recycled moves like the ground shockwave or lightsaber throw, each boss felt pretty unique in terms of their kit and character design (besides fighting Trilla a thousand times). My only complaint is I wanted to see more Sith inspired attacks or strings, we got a few force chokes but nothing too crazy. Which is weird because it's been years since order 66 and they've only managed to learn how to throw rocks and attack more aggressively? A Sith arguably uses their environment (at least as a form of offense) more effectively than a Jedi: like in Ep.3 when mf Sidious whipped all those desk things at Yoda, or in Ep.2 when Dooku dropped that tower onto Anakin and Obi Wan. Show us the power of the darkside JFO bosses, otherwise y'all are just edgy Jedis. T-T This next part sort of ties in with the lack of dark attacks as well, and that's the boss stages being overly bland. I would've been hella down for some environmental interactions, ya know maybe some objects to break and throw, with useable terrain to duck and cover from said attacks. Mid-fight stage swaps would've also been amazing since it's already so heavily integrated into the original films with Luke vs Vader or Anakin Vs Obi-Wan. Even ring outs would've been nice for the extra sauce! Cal: It's over Trilla, I have the high ground. Trilla: You can't spike me son! YEAH and then in terms of our super dope protag, I felt like some of his boss fight options (offensive diversity) were limited because of how expensive certain abilities were on his force meter. Like throwing his saber shouldn't cost a giant chunk of his force bar, it's too cool of an attack to be conservative with! To be honest I wish they gave Cal more auto attack abilities in general, like the delayed thrust or sprint slash; being able to express more of your kit without the looming threat of being force taxed just sounds nice. Also, give this man mad air combos in the sequel for the love of! Lastly, I hope they implement better camera controls for non-locked camera users during fights. I know the game was made to see, fight and defend from Cal's POV but c'mon, a few zoom out options when using side and enemy POV angles won't hurt. It's impossible to look cool if bosses keep going in and out of vision all the time.. eg. 0:36 or 25:08 I know it looks like I hate this game because of all the complaining during the entirety of this description but that's not the case at all. Jedi: Fallen Order pretty much delivered on everything else a good story could ask for. Legit 9/10 for me! The characters are extremely well designed and likable, Cals story arc was phenomenal and the skill tree progression really made you feel like a Padawan slowly becoming more adept (especially through environmental scaling and fighting against hoards of non-boss enemies) with the force. Even exploring and learning about the lore within JFO felt satisfying and immersive because of how good the force echo interactions are. Lastlyx2, there's a world where Cal and Sora can actually team up and holy shit I'm all for it! 👑💕 Thanks for watching guys.
