This was the 2nd of 2 opening spots we did with Steve Miller Band, the first being Kingston a couple of days earlier. I KNOW THAT IT LOOKS LIKE I USED A POTATO TO FILM THIS, SHUT UP. The SMB crew treated us really well, and the production crew were excellent. You know what, I don't owe you an explanation. Just listen to that audience go! In terms of audio, I was asked to stay around 90, and could allow crescendos of 92 dB A (fast). All of which is both expected and reasonable. It was a challenged to mix AW that quietly in such a big area, but the band really helped me out by cutting stage volumes, etc. It's great working with these guys.
