Hello Everyone Durbar Squares are the most prominent attraction sites in Kathmandu valley of Nepal which preserves the spectacular legacy of its ancient times. Durbar Square was used to describe the area surrounding the royal palaces in Nepal. This area generally consisted of the temples and museums which today showcases the older times of Nepal and introduces tourist of its historic past. In particular, Kathmandu Valley consisted of three smaller kingdoms and thus three Durbar Squares which belonged to the three Newari kingdoms that can be visited now. Known as the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, all three of them are famous UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES and attracts the major chunk of tourist to Kathmandu city of Nepal. But its indeed interesting to know that these Durbar Squares have got a different historic past associated with them and have been known for different reasons.
