[P3D/FSX/FS9 Tutorial]: Organizing\Installing Historic\Retro AI traffic

This video was made to share the way I keep my AI Traffic organized and how I install traffic for different time periods. After watching this video, you will know how to be able to load AI Traffic from present day, the 1980s, 1990s, or whatever period of time you wish by simply adding folders to your Scenery Library within the sim and checking and un-checking boxes to load\unload whatever period of time you wish to see traffic from. This same method may also be used for switching to ADEX files from different time periods so the airports are accurate and the AI parks in the correct place. This video assumes that you already know how to download flightplans, assign aircraft to them, and how to add\remove\activate\de-activate scenery from your Scenery Library. If you are unsure of how to do this, please watch another tutorial. This method works the same in FS2002, FS2004, FSX, and Prepar3D versions 1-4 and will mostly likely continue working with the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The best resource for modern AI traffic from about 2008 onwards is the Alpha India group.. An easy to navigate list of their official flightplans may be found here: http://www.alpha-india.net/aigfiles/f... Additional flightplans made by AIG members, including many small airlines, cargo operators, and general aviation companies may be found searching the forums here: https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/in... For traffic from the 1970s to early 2000s, RetroAI is your best source. Check these forums here: http://retroai.proboards.com/ For classic AI traffic from the 1950s and 1960s, check out CalClassics here: www.calclassics.com Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
