According to police sources, DNA taken from bone fragments found in the Mehrauli forest region by the Delhi Police in connection with the gruesome Shraddha Walkar murder case matched with samples of her father. While looking for Walkar's body parts, the police found 13 bits of bone in the vicinity. She was allegedly killed by her live-in partner, Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who then dispersed her body in 35 pieces across the metropolis. The DNA report of the discovered bones has been given to the police. DNA samples from Walkar's father and the bones are genetically identical. The Central Forensic Science Laboratory received the bone samples for DNA testing. The forensic sciences lab turned up Poonawala's polygraph test report to the police on Wednesday.
