This golden meadow beauty is not just a rich medicine plant but a critical plant for the health of pollinator habitat, and in turn birds and larger predator species, supporting the entire chain of biodiversity in an ecosystem. Many consider Goldenrod (Solidago spp.) a weed, but it is but one of many profoundly important ‘weeds’ out there that are not just medicinal but also critical to healthy ecosystems.
