Painting on Stained Glass

In this video you'll learn how to paint on stained glass. The tools and supplies needed to paint on glass are Reusche Paints, a kiln, window glass, water and assorted brushes. After the paints are fired in the kiln they become a permanent part of the glass and will not fade over time. Painted fired glass dates back to 540 A.D. The formula for the paint is the same today, it is a vitreous material made of ground glass. The painted birds in this video are part of the Oak Tree Stained Glass Project.
