The GTX 1070 8GB came out in 2016 and has 8GB of GDDR5, has 1920 cuda cores, a memory speed of 8.108GBps with a bandwith of 256 bits. The RTX 2070 8GB came out in 2018, it has 8GBs of GDDR6 with a memory speed of 14Gbps. The 2070 has 2304 cuda cores with a maximum turbo frequency of 1.62GHz.
