GTA Online - Fleeca (Speedrun, 13m48s) World Record

madebyWITT and Thitiya Thitiya    • Видео   Currently #1 on: https://www.speedrun.com/gtao#Origina... Last Friday it was 4 years ago I created my channel, there has been whole lots of good and odd journeys along the way and here's to continuing with more 'exciting' stoofs! :) We had hit pretty neat time of 14m14 (11m09s loadless) with the old school way of doing things, but decided to keep the time unpublished while continuing the grind with new strategies, meaning with the mighty Vigilante (litteraly ''Vigilante this, Vigilante that'' sadly.. I love the damn vehicle but sometimes it's a bit too much.. :x), for the laughs we decided to aim for a sub 14m time, quite a bold goal as at the time session swapping hadn't become popular yet, so we wanted to avoid using it (gives a 20s gain ish). Now after a total of 2-3.000 attempts over the past year or even years, this is what we'll call a satisfactory run - for now.. There's still a good 5-10s to shave off at least! ;) Overall a 49s improvement compared to the current world record by myst and Dew who were already suffering a loss of 10-15s during loading due to a higher ping, yet still sitting on the record comfortably for a long, long time, GGs. First improvement comes from pushing Lester's little Asea to the bank, generally ~5s gained - then it's just about getting a decent drive back to Paige as well to the apartment which went okay, overall a 10-11s gain from our old personal best (ignoring various improvements between these 2 times). Kuruma setup.. I found myself wondering where to launch off the Vigilante to parachute onto the parking and while looking around the area I found the spot no further than a couple feet away, lols, thinking back I'm curious why I had thought of it earlier. This being said it's little to no advantage whatsoever, still feels 'cool' to do though. Followed by an unlucky landing costing some seconds, 4-5 to be precise - ah well, still overall a neato run to continue. Gaining some time between the Kuruma setup and the finale with session swapping, around just shy of 20s compared to top tier hosting with job warps. Finally the finale, without really realizing it the nervousness kicks in - surprise.. driving to bank becomes granny style making various flukes - poles here and cars there, in a way pretty much a run to be as ashamed of as proud of, awkward.. still could've gone far worse, so there's that.. Other that that the finale went amazingly textbook like, and looking at the timer near the end just being rather mesmerized - 13m48s.. To finish off this long novel (that this description has become..), thanks a bunch to everyone who've tagged along my journeys over the last few years, hugs! :) Scope out: 00:11 - 05:01 (04:50) Kuruma: 05:49 - 07:33 (01:44) Finale: 09:32 - 13:59 (04:27) RTA: 13:48 (Loadless: 11:01) Unpublished Fleeca 14m14s from August of last year:    • GTA Online - Fleeca (Speedrun, 14m14s)   Check out my previous upload:    • GTA Online - Great Ocean Highway (Tim...
