In this tutorial I show you how to upload and share files on Google Drive. You can use this method to upload photos and videos to share with other people. People who can view the file can also download it. Meaning you will only want to share Google Drive files with people you trust. The easiest way to upload files to Google Drive is to drag them in to the window. Once done the files will automatically begin to upload in the location you dragged them in to. This means if you can open a folder you want the files to be in, then drag the files directly into the folder from your computer. This method is particularly helpful when trying to upload multiple photos or videos to Google Drive at once. Additionally, it’s always good practice to create folders in Google Drive. This will ensure that your Google Drive is kept organised. Another benefit of this is that you can share folders on Google Drive to give someone access to multiple files at once. Again, if you are trying to share various photos or videos with someone then this can make the process a lot easier. To share files on Google Drive you will need to open the file options and select share. This can be done by clicking the three dots next to the file. Additionally, you may also share a folder by opening the folder options. When you have the share menu open there are two methods you can share your document. The first method is to share the file with someone via email. This will ensure that only ther owner of the email address can see the file. Alternatively, you can choose to share the files using a link. If you choose to share the file using a link then the person will need to request access, or you can set the general access mode to “Anyone with the link”.
