Mustang Convertible Pump Fluid check and refill (bleeding)
If your convertible roof is slow, noisy or not going up and down all the way it could be that you are short on hydraulic fluid or needing to bleed the system. This is on my 2013 mustang but will apply to most models and other makes as well. The convertible system is actually quite simple so don't be scared. The fluid in mine was last changed during the stone age and I really should bleed the whole system. However this video shows you how to top off the fluid and make sure it's at the correct level.
