Installing Noico Red 150 mil closed cell foam in my 1st Gen Toyota 4runner and 1988 Toyota Pickup! This is the second layer, aka Noico RED foam that goes on top of the 80mil sound deadening mat. This is supposed to be an insulation heat and cold barrier with excellent thermal barrier properties. I figured if I was going this far, I should finish the job and do it right. I also used the leftover mat and foam in my Toyota Pickup as I get it ready for a vinyl flooring kit. In the pickup I did the floorboards and headliner. It already had kilmat so I just laid the foam on top of it. Using both the 80 mil mat and 150 mil foam is recommended by Noico for the most effective sound proofing, vibration deadening, and insulating properties.
