Project SUCCESS: Dreams to Action for 20 Years

For the last 20 years, Project SUCCESS has been motivating and inspiring young people to dream about their futures and helping them take the steps to get there. We give them the tools and support they need to set and achieve their goals and realize their dreams. We call it "helping kids dream with their eyes open." Founded in 1994, serving 200 students at North High School in Minneapolis, Project SUCCESS has grown to serve over 11,000 Minneapolis and Saint Paul students annually and continuously from sixth through twelfth grade. Through monthly in-class goal-setting workshops, professional theater experiences, and enrichment experiences such as college tours, trips to the BWCA, school musicals and artist residencies, our program is designed and proven to help students gain confidence and resilience in creative thinking, decision making, goal setting, and resourcefulness while developing the skills and generating the support to plan their futures.
