This video will show the “The Joy of Kaizen with Paul Akers: Japan Study Mission". In this video, I'm stoked to share my latest adventure from my sixth study mission in Japan. Strap in because it's been an absolute rollercoaster of learning! Let's rewind a bit. My previous trips to Japan were mind-blowing. I first realized I was clueless when I saw the Toyota Production System in action. Later, I grasped the power of Lean and its simplicity. Meeting with the VP of Lexus enlightened me on teaching, training, and building a culture of continuous improvement. Then, I discovered how precise Japanese manufacturing is, measuring in fractions of a second. And, last year, it hit me – Japan is all about quality, and I mean the highest level of quality! Fast forward to my latest trip, and it's been a game-changer. We met a young president who learned Lean from Toyota, and he talked about the "Joy of Kaizen" – finding joy in learning and improving every day. That resonated with me because Lean isn't just about numbers; it's about the joy of personal and professional growth. Japan isn't just about manufacturing; it's about learning, growing, and finding joy in the journey. It's a relentless pursuit of excellence. So, never settle for mediocrity, keep pressing on, and let's all strive for excellence together! Thanks for tuning in, and remember, we're all on this journey of improvement. #lean #kaizen #fastcap Timestamps 00:00 - Introduction 00:10 - Exploring Japan's Lean Culture 00:28 - Incredible Japan Study Mission 00:39 - A Journey of Continuous Learning 01:05 - Discovering Lean's Power 01:15 - The Key to Lean Success 01:38 - Building a Culture of Continuous Improvement 01:49 - Japanese Precision 02:05 - Japan's Uncompromising Commitment to Quality 03:02 - The Joy of Kaizen 04:04 - Finding Joy in Learning and Improvement 04:45 - Reflecting on 'The Joy of Kaizen' 05:27 - Eliminating Waste 06:28 - The Significance of Engineers on the Shop Floor 07:08 - The Essence of Toyota Production System 07:19 - Watching, Understanding, and Setting Great Standards" 08:30 - Why do I Keep Going to Japan? 11:59 - Pressing On to Excellence 12:22 - Outro (Get More LEAN at) https://paulakers.net/ {PASTE YOUR "VIDEO DETAILS HERE} If you like this video, give it a thumbs up & subscribe to our channel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For even MORE convenience, efficiency, and general Awesomeness...
