I Must Have Washed My Hands In the Muddy Stream

Tom Jordan and I have been friends and musical brothers since the 1980’s! He asked me to play banjo with his group “Tom Jordan & the Day Drinkers” last week! We opened up “The River Ruckus Music Festival” for “The 502’s”! We never played together as a group so we had to practice in the performer’s tent with the sax player for “The 502’s” siting there! When we finish running through the songs I said, “ Sounded good boys, but we need some saxophone.” Joe Capati, the saxophone player for “The 502’s” said, “nope you guys sound great as you are”! How cool? PS. Sorry about the slightly out of tune banjo but that was the best I could do on a cold rainy day.
