Any type will do as long as you are able to shape it into a circular shape, because you have to add the yoyo on each side. The craft sticks are also from Dollar Tree and just stuff it with the gift tissue, which you only have to use half a sheet per center piece. I do notice that you have to put some rocks or sand inside so it doesn't fly away in case you are doing your party outside and there is some wind. So my daughter is turning 6 and I use the app Bazaart. It's not free. Its $7.99 premium or you can pay yearly. But you can make Thank you cards. You can modify your YouTube Thumbnails and make post for instagram. It has several functions other than making designs for center pieces or for birthday favor boxes.
