Everything you need to know about the CTM Bus from Fes to Chefchaouen. Our journey begins in the enchanting Medina of Fes as we make our way towards the famous blue gate. Its very easy to grab a taxi at the blue gate - if only you would speak french or arabic :) Unsure of the fare quoted by the driver in French, we prepared a few coins, hoping it was the correct amount of 30 Dirham for two persons. At the CTM terminal, just a few minutes' drive from the bustling medina, we find ourselves ready to board the bus. As we step inside the bus, we notice there is no toilet onboard, so we're advised to enjoy the upcoming stop. The seats, though, prove to be comfortable enough for the journey ahead. During our break, we explore the kiosk offering snacks and drinks at fair prices. However, it's interesting to note that there are no price tags, adding an element of surprise to our purchases. After 25 minutes, we resume our journey, witnessing the changing scenery from urban to rural landscapes. Finally, the blue houses of Chefchaouen come into view, welcoming us to this picturesque city. Upon arriving at the destination, we find taxis waiting right outside the station, ready to take us to our next destination. The fare for the taxi ride is 10 Dirham per person.
