They said it couldn't be done, but I have accomplished the impossible. Behold, the completed Burst Mode theme (more or less)! You guys have been asking about this track since I first started uploading these, but I never considered it a possibility. In fact, I had written this theme off as unsalvageable and perhaps even lost to time, but I was rewatching Data Squad a short while ago and something occurred to me. A lot of the Burst Mode scenes have minimal dialogue, and the digivolutions themselves don't even have a "ShineGreymon digivolve to...!" sort of line. So, I took my DVDs, ripped the audio and spliced a little bit of every Burst Mode scene into this track, to create the cleanest sounding Burst Mode theme we're likely to get unless Thorsten uploads the track to his website. Thanks for listening guys. It warms my heart to know there are several more fans of Data Squad's music out there. The small but dedicated following these videos get has kept me pumping them out for the past year and I will continue to do so until I finish the whole soundtrack. Just know, however, that this was an exceptionally large amount of work on my part, so I won't be doing this splicing technique for any other soundtracks since, in my opinion, none of them are worth the effort. That's not to say they're bad, but they pale in comparison to the Burst Mode theme, so if I do decide to upload them, they'll be in the format of the "Human Potential" soundtrack, where I've inverted the stereo tracks to cancel out the vocals, simply because it's easier that way and it sounds good enough as is.
