RWBY (pronounced "Ruby") started out as an anime-influenced 3D computer-animated web series from the mind of the late Monty Oum and produced by Rooster Teeth. Released in July 18th, 2013, the series lasted over a decade and became its own franchise, with books, podcasts, and video games, before Rooster Teeth closed its doors on May 15th, 2024. The Huntress archetype allows incredibly creative Deck builds that can be molded into just about any Extra Deck strategy the player chooses, using monsters that have a second Type and a myriad of Special Summoning capabilities. A RWBY Deck isn't very beginner friendly, however, so players must put a lot of thought into their cards, or the intended strategy may collapse on its own. This philosophy aims to capture the spirit of the show's "awesome for the sake of awesome characters", over-the-top battles, and clustered mess that the show's writers call a plot.
