Good: First this phone is unlocked and works to give you 4G LTE with all the major carriers in the US and if you have Verizon or T-Mobile you can also use this as a companion phone allowing you to use your main phone and the Palm at the same time with the same number on both phones. If you don't have either of those two carriers you can use Google voice to do virtually the same thing. Good: This phone is tiny it really does fit in the palm of your hand and weighs only 2.2 oz. and has a 3.3 inch HD display. Good: The screen on the Palm is really nice and bright and sharp. It has a pixel density of 445PPI which doesn’t see like a lot but with a screen this small it’s really crisp. Good: This phone charges via a USB-C port. I love USB-C because that means I don’t have worry about carrying or looking for a proprietary type of charging cable, USB-C is very universal. Good: Life Mode, Life Mode is basically a supercharged do not disturb mode. If the screen is off you won’t receive any notifications you have to actively turn on your screen in this mode to engage with your phone to get messages and calls. Good: The cameras are pretty decent you have a 12mp rear facing camera and an 8mp selfie camera and both produce nice images. You can also shoot 1080p video. Bad: The battery life is really pretty atrocious especially if you are using the phone for anything resource intensive like watching videos or downloading files. However you can get the Mophie Juice Pack for it and that not only gives you 13 hours of battery but also delivers wireless charging. Bad: This point really annoys me especially in 2021 and that is that you only get 2.4ghz wifi and not the faster 5ghz band. This means slower upload and downloads speeds. This is a really nice device if you want to be able to just throw it in your purse leave it in your backpack leave it in your briefcase or take it with you when you go for a run. It’s lightweight and small so it’s easy to take with you on workouts and if you already have a larger phone the Palm can make the perfect companion device. It can also be a great standalone device if you are not a power user.
