Looking for the best place to stay in Cusco? Check out the beautiful and historic Inkaterra La Casona in Cusco Peru. The property is a luxury historic boutique hotel located along the cobblestone streets of Cusco. It is the first boutique hotel in Cusco, originally built in the 16th Century by the Spanish and stands on the training grounds for an elite army of Incas. It had Spanish Conquistador Diego de Almagro and ‘Libertador’ Simón Bolívar among its illustrious guests. It was beautifully restored to honor the traditional craftsmanship of the Incas. The rooms included oxygen (to help with the 11,000 foot elevation), a fireplace, bed warmers, a vintage bath tub, towel warmers, a rain shower, and more. They provided indoor shoes at night as well as chocolates on our bed each night. Staying here is such a treat that I had to film it and do a hotel tour. I later found out that it got a solid five star review on Trip Advisor. If you are looking for an excellent accommodation in Peru, this hotel is a winner.
