How to make a Coaming Cushion for a SCAMP sailboat

This is how I made a set of cushions for my coamings and seat tops on SCAMP Wildflower #330. I am a total novice, and have used this project to learn how to sew. I plan to make a custom tent for Wildflower, but had to get some skills first. I had already made the seat top cushions and the port side coaming cushion before making this video. I felt confident enough now with my skills to show how I did it. Note that the seat top cushions are made similarly, but I used patterning material to draw out the curve directly on the seat top (link to material below) so that the seat top cushion follows the curve. That is a bit trickier to do, but with the zipper on the bottom rather than the side, construction is much easier. The cushions are 1 inch thick.
