Episode 133: I explore a very rare village of Filipinos who Live deep in the Tidal zones of a Mangrove swamp up against the Bohol Sea on the edge of the town of Guindulman, Bohol. The people of the Punta village are a humble and survivor based group of Ocean going fisherman, Labor workers, FIsh Wives and Children. When I spoke with some mainlain locals about the area. They gave a some-what negative and unsupportive vibe towards the area and spoke as if they were Pirates or Squatters that most live illegally and also that the area was a known Drug sales haven. During my time amongst the people, i saw none of these events or anything else to suggest this a fact. Everyone was kind, and everyone seems to have a specific role amongst the village. From the Bungas skimming fisherman searching for babies. To the Lolas and wives that count and sell them. it was a smooth and family oriented vibe all around. This is my 1st attempt at a full honest raw walk through documenting a certain area of attention or allegation.
