This first loop is the Alston South Loop, 155 miles clockwise & a full days riding. Riding down the awesome A686 once voted Britain's most beautiful road, the 'Hartside Pass' I also ride to the top of Britain's highest public house, the 'Tan Hill Inn'. Last but not least a trip along Britain's highest A road the 'A695'. I'll be stopping in a air b&b near Alston, a central point to get out on these great rides taken from the 'Bikers Britain' book.
