And here's another Mario Medley! The New Super Mario Bros series was sort of a return to form to 2D Mario games at the time and strangely it sort of became its own franchise at some point. Nintendo went on to make New Super Mario Bros Wii, New Super Mario Bros 2 and New Super Mario Bros U after the original on the DS came out which is so strange to me because you really can't call it New if you make the same thing over and over again. I do have to clarify that I do really enjoy the games a lot since I love 2D Mario or any Mario game for that matter. They're always a good time to play since they're not super complicated so you can just like turn your brain off and just play and have fun. New Super Mario Bros Wii definitely has the most memorable soundtrack to me though. There are so many great songs in there like the forest theme, the iconic overworld theme or the underwater theme. I feel like they reused a lot from this one going into the next games so I figured that this one would be the most compatible to make a medley out of. The Bahs that the enemies sing during the stages is sort of a meme at this point but I feel like the soundtrack is not the same without it since it's so rhythmic so I took it upon myself to sing the parts and it was so much fun! Stuff like that just makes me laugh out loud and it's a great time to record them. Unfortunately, I had to cut the Castle Theme a bit short since I really couldn't figure out how to make an outro that sounded right to me since all the other things I tried sounded stupid/forced so that's the reason why. Happy how the whole thing turned out though! Anyway, this was a great time for me to play and I hope you'll enjoy my Guitar Medley of New Super Mario Bros Wii!
