Ratty 1st start up, 1980 Honda Camino Re-build.

At last the time has come to give Ratty a kick over and see if it will start. In the last video I showed we had a good spark, and the carb has cleaned and is spotless, so the fuel system is ok. The usual mixture screw start point was adopted (screw all the way in, then 2.5 turns out), idle screw was set to open the throttle 1mm, just so I knew it was open a little. What you see is genuine, I filmed everything as I did it, I moved Ratty onto the road to start, as I had no idea how smokey it would be, if it started. I didn't want the house full of 2-stroke smoke, lovely as it is. Don't think the other half would have appreciated it whilst working from home! Cheers John.
