Carnivals are a staple of American culture and Texas does it better than the rest. At Retama Park in San Antonio, you can find the biggest and best carnival in Alamo City at Big Texas Fun. Big Texas Fun is a 3-week long event and features all the classics, including colorfully-lit carnival rides and some of the best fried food and bbq meat in the state.
