Mowing a Family Friend's Field

Dragged the tractor across town today to mow this friend's field. It sat for about 2 years letting blackberries and white oaks get established in various places. The L2501 really got a workout and put about 5 hours on the meter, bringing us just north of 75 hours since we bought it. If you listen closely, you can hear two gear changes that I do on the fly. Because of the load and the uphill slope, I was able to clutch in fast enough and swap gears quickly enough that I had no clashing dog teeth. This tractor clearly has plenty of power to not only drag itself up the hill but also to chop through 3/4" white oak sapling trunks without too much trouble.
