I remember thinking that something like this would never actually make it over to the west in a time where Monster Hunter was getting more popular, but was still considered fairly niche. Much to my surprise it would be about a year later, on September 8, 2017 that the west would be able to get their hands on this game for the 3DS and over a year later for mobile devices.
