He has noticed her at the cemetery where he worked and ever since then could not take his eyes off her at school. Unfortunately, the girl was interest in someone else. Jackson Whittemore was a wide known rich boy who has captivated the heart of a Gilbert girl. However, Elena was not the only one whom Jackson spent time with. Isaac noticed that Jackson was spending time with Lydia Martin as well. As if it was fate, one time Isaac was working late at the cemetery and he has spotted a drunk girl. The girl turned out to be Elena. As she passed out n the ground, Isaac took her home and let her stay the night.As Elena wakes up in the morning she tells Isaac it seemed like a dream and does not say thank you which annoys Isaac a lot. He storms o to school. Meanwhile at school, Elena and Isaac notice a suspicious conversation between Lydia and Jackson where it seems as though Jackson got some sort of STD from her. Elena breaks up with Jackson and rushes straight to Isaac. During his comofrting, Elena ens up making a move to kiss Isaac and they end up hooking up. Unwilling to pursue the relatinship, Elena breaks up with Isaac and tells him it cannot happen. Meanwhile Caroline confront Elena that she still has feelings fr Jackson. The two hint at getting back together but Elena finds herself tron between feelings for both Jackson an Isaac. However, her life is overtaken by something far worse than just a boy drama. After collapsing at one o the parties, the doctors discover a rare disease in her brain which is cuasing a girl to die.
