1958 was an amazing year for western fans. Why? Because 39 NEW WESTERNS WERE BEING BROADCAST EVERY WEEK! At a time when there were only 3 major networks, and only a handful of independent TV stations, that meant over 5 westerns on every single day of the week! That high number of new westerns doesn't even include all of the earlier western series being rebroadcast in syndication. Is it any wonder that the post war Baby Boomers love the genre? It's a Fall Season of classic and loved westerns. Check them out in our tribute montage.
