NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission will deliver the agency’s first-ever asteroid sample to Earth on Sept. 24, 2023, at the U.S. Department of Defense’s Utah Test and Training Range. After initial processing and curation, the sample will then be revealed at NASA’s Johnson Space Center on Oct. 11. Reporters participating in this briefing will get an inside look at how to cover the delivery and mission milestones leading up to it.
