Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk | 190 miles | 12 days | Camping

On the 25th May 19 we set off on our Coast to Coast walk which would take us through the Lake District, to the Yorkshire Dales across to the Yorkshire Moors, crossing the width of England, covering 190 miles in total. Our adventure started in St Bees on the west coast and took us 12 days to hike across the width of the country to Robin Hoods Bay on the east coast. There were many ups and downs, quite literally however what an coast to coast adventure we had! We experienced all types of weather the UK has to offer and got the opportunity to see some spectacular views. Parking and travel We used the Packhorse service to take us to St Bees on the first day and collect us from Robin Hoods Bay on our final day (depart 4pm). They also kept our car in a secure location in Kirkby Stephen. We would highly recommend them!
