What makes retirement financially complex compared to wealth accumulation phase?

Wealth accumulation phase or journey to financial independence is psychologically tough as it requires discipline in savings, investing and focus on career / family etc. Retirement on the other hand is when one relaxes, de-stresses and enjoys all those fruits of labour. But the flip side is that retirement is financially complex with very little room for flexibility and absolutely no room for ‘failure’ when it comes to running out of money! In this video, based on our early retirement experience, I list some of these differences and suggest what can be done during the wealth accumulation phase to minimise that complexity during the retirement phase. #financialfreedom #wealth #personalfinance #retireearly #retirement #wealthbuilding #money #moneymanagement #fire #earlyretirement #finance #financialliteracy #financialplanning #failure #flexibility #retirementstrategy #wealthy Would love to hear your comments, suggestions and thoughts in the comments below. 👍 Like, Share, and Subscribe: If you found this video valuable, please give it a thumbs up, share it with your friends, and subscribe to our channel for more financial insights and discussions. These values helped us to have a solid 25-year career in some of the reputed global organizations. Must say we were also fortunate that we were able to ride the wave of the emerging Indian IT industry and opening up of the Indian economy. This opened the doors for us to work in different parts of the world. Here we were – the son of a farmer and the daughter of a public sector bank manager – living and working in Japan, UK, US, Europe and Singapore. Never did we both ever imagine of such an enriching professional and personal experience, while also building our financial independence. Now that we both have retired early, we want to raise awareness on the importance of savings, investing and the overall path to financial independence (retiring early is an option … financial independence is a must!)
