How to Draw a Breast Cancer Awareness Survivor Ribbon

I first lightly sketch out the basic shape of the ribbon symbol with a HB pencil and then begin to map out an area for a feather before outlining the whole image with a fine line pen. Once the outline is down I erase all unwanted pencil marks and then fill in the breast cancer ribbon with a Sharpie. However, I don't go all the way to the outline, I leave myself just enough room to fill those areas in with a fine line pen. I later drew in some bird silhouettes, with each of them in a different flight pose. Once I was happy with design I scanned it on to my computer and created high quality SVG cut files (dxf, png, jpeg, pdf, eps and svg files) so the design can be used on cricut machines, glowforge and cameo silhouettes etc. Link to the breast cancer survivor ribbon svg files is at top of description. Not only would this design look great on T-shirts, mugs, vinyl stickers decals for cars and other types of merchandise it would also make one great tattoo design.
