Welcome to the Economy Guide Trooper Today we will discuss the basics in generating income while in the field for our faction In TECH ONE your primary source of income is to rely on mining ships to mine asteroids, These mining ships have extremely limited armament and are extremely vulnerable to fighters and bombers. Early game they should be protected at all cost in interest of long term combat. It is best to set mining ships to full power to weapons to overcharge mining lasers into being more effective at gathering income. In TECH ONE you also have the option of saving up income to buy Asteroid Mining Facilities These can be found sitting around the map as neutral entities that you can capture. Each of them generates a solid stream of income and can be upgraded starting in tech three to significantly increase their income generation up to 300 credits a second at TECH FIVE. Asteroid Mining Facilities are equipped with Ion Turbolasers and project a large interdiction field around themselves due to the Gravitational Mining Generator they use to keep an asteroid from splintering during mining operations. Moving to TECH TWO the XQ asteroid mining platform becomes available The XQ mining platform is extremely effective at generating income when placed inside or on the edges of asteroid fields. They are equipped with light turbolasers as well as laser cannons, providing superior defense especially when fielded in numbers. In TECH THREE the Trade Station becomes available for 8000 Credits The Trade Station gives players a constant significant stream of income and is also used to buy upgrades for asteroid mining facilities that are capturable around the map. The Trade Station is not equipped with any armaments so defend it well. Accessory Buildings Each building that can produce UNITS or can be placed also generate a small percentage of income to assist players in being capable of fielding fleets faster These buildings currently include but are not limited to : XQ Asteroid Mining Platform XQ Fighter Starbase Golan I Golan II Other Sources of INCOME Players share the majority of their income with eachother allowing players to designate eco vs military players if needed or to have one player TECH or build Unit Production Stations. The team with the least amount of credits receives a 15% income bonus to their income. Other TIPS Mining lasers generate income based on in game TICKS whereas structures generate income based on seconds, Low FPS affects mining lasers heavily reducing total amount of income generated. Income based in seconds is not affected as heavily so it is critical to have Asteroid mining facilities captured in late game MASSIVE battles. After TECH ONE players should switch to XQ Mining platforms at their earliest convenience to boost their income generation. In TECH THREE players should place their Trade Station as soon as possible to increase income generation from Asteroid MIning Facilities
