Kirby's Dream Land 2 released in 1995 for the Nintendo Game Boy and is the third installment of what has become one of Nintendo's key franchises. The franchise has naturally evolved over time, not only with the addition of color (the original Kirby's Dream Land was in black and white), but also with Kirby's ability to copy the powers of his enemies - a feature that wasn't introduced until the second game: Kirby's Adventure. This time around Kirby is accompanied by 3 new animal friends on his adventure: Rick the hamster, Kine the fish and Coo the owl. ===== Story ===== In Kirby's Dream Land 2; the Rainbow that connects the seven Rainbow Islands in Dream Land has been stolen by the evil "Dark Matter" who has possessed Kind Dedede and is now trying to conquer Dream Land.
