Today we're trying to fix the 30BB fault code on my 335i by replacing the mosfets on my MSD80 DME with the upgraded units. This is a common failure on 335i's produced between 2007-2008, and causes misfires on 3 cylinders and an internal fault code (either 30BA or 30BB). This repair is easily done at home, or you can have a electronic repair shop do the work for you, but as we can see from my experience, results are not guaranteed!
