On the back end of the reservoir fly fishing season trout start heavily feeding on fry. As the temperatures begin to drop, these sillwater trout recognize that it's their last opportunity to feed heavily before the winter months, so they become aggressive and opportunistic. In this fly fishing tutorial, Fulling Mill Signature Tyer Rob Edmunds takes us out for a day on Grafham water and shows us how to target fry feeding fish with lures. While the conditions were tough, Rob spends the day pulling snakes and humunguses on a variety of line types. He talks about covering weed beds, drop offs and other structure.
