In this Auli-Joshimath Trip, today we went to Tapovan Valley. Tapovan is about 15kms from Joshimath. This is a beautiful valley which has many small villages. Tapovan is also know for its hot water springs & lake. We started our journey from Joshimath market & our first stop was Hanuman Shila. The structure of this Hanuman Shila is unique. This is made of hard rock and a small part of this rock appears to be like the face of Mahabali Hanuman. We cooked our lunch near Tapovan. After lunch we headed to see the hot springs & Gauri Kund in Tapovan.
