Amii Stewart: The Hits - Remixed (Full Album) [1985]

By 1985 Amii had returned to the UK charts with her #12 hit single "Friends". Her first producer Barry Leng seized the moment and released her two disco hits Knock On Wood and Light My Fire in new remixes. The double A-side single peaked at #7 in the UK charts. The follow-up single, a new mix of Amii's debut single You Really Touched My Heart was a modest #89. A new duet version of My Guy/My Girl, this time with vocals by Deon Estus, peaked at #63. The Hits, issued late 1985, compiled 8 of Amii's hits plus the dub versions Ash 48 and 137 Disco Heaven. I have compiled all the long 12" versions and added the B-side Bring It On Back To Me (that was not part of the original album). 1. Knock On Wood/Ash 48 (Extended Version) 2.
