HIKING YOSEMITE in 4K | Part 6: Sentinel Dome-Taft Point Loop

On the south rim above Yosemite Valley, just south of Glacier Point are both Sentinel Dome and Taft Point trails. Individually, both trails make for an easy 2ish-mile out-n-back hike, offering epic landscape scenery at their respective end-points. Having hiked both of these on a previous trip as separate hikes, we decided to make a loop out of it this time around, using a 2.4 mile section of the Pohono Trail that connects them, creating a nearly 6 mile hike, packed with visual splendor and plenty of places to hang-out and feel like you've got the place all to yourself if you care to seek them out. You'll want to arrive early (ideally by about 830am) to get a parking spot at the trail head lot. It's hit or miss if you arrive much later than that... So, pack a lunch, plenty of water and some trail mix and prepare for a visual experience that will leave you with a lifetime of fond memories.
