In this video, we officially start our first Himalayan adventure! This was my first experience of riding my Himalayan on the Himalayas. In this vlog, we ride from Siliguri to Dawaipani via Mirik, Lepchajagat, and Ghoom. Dawaipani is a small offbeat village situated on the mountain just opposite Darjeeling city. The village offers a mesmerizing view of the majestic Kanchenjunga peaks during the day and a beautiful night view of Darjeeling city after sunset. Unfortunately, Google Maps misguided us and sent us on a detour, which led to one of the most thrilling and adventurous rides of our lives! The detour also delayed us by almost two hours and we missed the view of Kanchenjunga from Dawaipani that day, as the sun had already set. In this video, I have also explained four different routes to reach Darjeeling from Siliguri by road.
